Not all Fume Cabinets are the sameIndependent testing has shown that the Labcaire Schools fume cabinet is able to remove significantly more acid type fumes than any other manufacturers cabinets. When this is compared to the cost of filters, it can be clearly seen that not only do Labcaire filters have greater capacity than others, they are also less expensive than any other make.
The above graph details the required mass of Sulphur (g) to reduce the efficiency of the impregnated activated carbon filters to 97%. A Sulphur Dioxide gas filter challenge is the standard test for the education market as acid gases are collectively the most toxic and frequently used in a schools environment.
