Fume Containment

To ensure your safety, Autoscopes are equipped with integral disinfectant fume removal and monitoring systems. A specialist airflow and Activated Carbon filter system ensures total COSHH compliance for all types of disinfectant fumes. Independent testing shows Autoscopes are fully able to comply with changes in EH40 to 0.05 ppm MEL for glutaraldehyde.

Disinfectant Compatibility

Autoscope 2 systems are fully compatible with all recognised disinfectants/sterilants including peracetic acid, peroxygen compounds, chlorine dioxide and 2% activated glutaraldehyde. This versatility enables the operator to opt for high level disinfection for standard endoscopy procedures or a sterile process for invasive or semi-invasive procedures. Broad compatibility with disinfectants / sterilants ensures you are not committed to a single source of disinfectant supply.
